It&#8217;s not just a book of stories or rules\u2014it\u2019s the unfolding revelation of <strong>God\u2019s plan to create, redeem, and restore<\/strong>. The following eight verses trace a powerful path from <strong>creation<\/strong>, through <strong>Christ<\/strong>, to our <strong>new birth and eternal calling<\/strong>. Let\u2019s walk through them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Gen 1:1 \u2014 The Beginning of Everything<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIn the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is where it all starts. God is the <strong>eternal Creator<\/strong>, the One who brought everything into being. Before there was time, space, or matter\u2014<strong>there was God<\/strong>. This verse lays the foundation: <strong>God is the source of life<\/strong> and the <strong>Lord over all creation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 1:1-3, 14 \u2014 The Word Who Was and Is God<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIn the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God&#8230; All things were made by him\u2026 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us&#8230;\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John brings us back to Genesis\u2014but this time he reveals a mystery: <strong>The Word<\/strong>, who created all things, <strong>is Jesus Christ<\/strong>. He is <strong>eternal<\/strong>, <strong>divine<\/strong>, and He <strong>became flesh<\/strong> to dwell among us. Jesus is not just a prophet or a teacher\u2014<strong>He is God revealed in human form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 17:5 \u2014 The Preexistent Glory of Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cAnd now, O Father, glorify thou me\u2026 with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In His prayer before the cross, Jesus reveals a profound truth: <strong>He shared glory with the Father before creation ever began<\/strong>. He didn\u2019t begin at Bethlehem\u2014He is <strong>eternal<\/strong>, equal with the Father, and willingly stepped into time and flesh to accomplish salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 3:3 \u2014 The Need for New Birth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cExcept a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Jesus is God and Creator, and He came to save, then <strong>how do we enter His kingdom?<\/strong> Jesus gives the answer plainly: <strong>You must be born again.<\/strong> This is not a physical birth, but a <strong>spiritual rebirth<\/strong>. No one enters God\u2019s kingdom through religion, ritual, or heritage\u2014<strong>only through a new heart and a new Spirit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ezek 36:26-27 \u2014 God\u2019s Promise to Transform the Heart<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cA new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Old Testament promise echoes and explains John 3:3. The <strong>new birth<\/strong> is not something we earn or achieve\u2014it\u2019s something <strong>God does within us<\/strong>. He gives us a <strong>new heart<\/strong>, removes our stubbornness, and places His <strong>Spirit within us<\/strong>, enabling us to love and obey Him. This is the miracle of regeneration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 14:6 \u2014 The Only Way<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cI am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus makes an exclusive claim\u2014He is <strong>the only way<\/strong> to the Father. There is <strong>no other path<\/strong>, no alternate door. Not good works, not other religions, not self-reformation\u2014<strong>only Jesus<\/strong>. The new birth comes through <strong>faith in Him alone<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Gal 3:29 \u2014 The True Heirs of God\u2019s Promise<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIf ye be Christ\u2019s, then are ye Abraham\u2019s seed, and heirs according to the promise.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many people think being part of God\u2019s family is about bloodline or background. But Paul says <strong>if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham\u2019s offspring<\/strong>\u2014<strong>heirs of the promise<\/strong>. This includes people from every nation, tribe, and tongue. Through faith, we are grafted into the family of God and inherit the blessings of His covenant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Matt 7:21-23 \u2014 The Sobering Warning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cNot every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven&#8230;\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus ends the Sermon on the Mount with a solemn warning. <strong>Religious words and works do not guarantee salvation<\/strong>. Many will claim His name and point to their deeds, but He will say, \u201cI never knew you.\u201d What matters is <strong>a real relationship with Christ<\/strong>, grounded in <strong>obedience<\/strong> and <strong>Spirit-led transformation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Final Reflection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These verses form a complete picture:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>God created all things.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jesus, the eternal Word, is God and Creator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He became flesh to bring us life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We must be born again\u2014not by works but by the Spirit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This new life comes only through faith in Jesus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Those who are Christ\u2019s are heirs of God\u2019s promise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>But only those truly known by Him will enter His kingdom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not just a theological outline\u2014it\u2019s <strong>a call to examine our hearts<\/strong>. Have you been born again by the Spirit of God? Do you know Jesus\u2014not just in name, but in truth?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Let the Word search you. Let the Spirit renew you.
