\n\u201cThe nation state of Israel is entirely legitimate and remains the special covenant people of God.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
This claim is repeated frequently in sermons, conferences, and media discussions. It is usually supported by quoting certain Old Testament promises to Abraham while assuming those promises still apply directly to a modern political nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, faithful Bible study requires something very important:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All Scripture must agree with all Scripture.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
We cannot isolate a few verses while ignoring the clear explanations given later in the New Testament. The Bible must interpret itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When we follow the biblical message from Genesis to Revelation<\/strong>, a consistent theme appears: the promise of God is fulfilled in Christ, and those who belong to Christ are the true children of the promise.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The apostle Paul gives the inspired interpretation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\u201cNow to Abraham and his seed<\/strong> were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
This verse is decisive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The promise was ultimately not about many ethnic descendants. The promise pointed to one Seed \u2014 Jesus Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\nWho Are Abraham\u2019s True Children?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Once Christ is identified as the Seed, the Bible explains how others participate in that promise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\u201cThere is neither Jew nor Greek\u2026 for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\nScripture makes the condition clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The heirs of Abraham are not defined by bloodline but by belonging to Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nPhysical Israel Is Not Automatically the People of God<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The apostle Paul directly addresses this misunderstanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\u201cFor they are not all Israel, which are of Israel<\/strong>:

\n\u201cIf ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Their rejection of Christ revealed that they were not truly following Abraham\u2019s faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The same principle applies to everyone today: true faith in God always leads to faith in the Messiah He sent.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nThe Kingdom Was Taken From Unbelief<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Jesus later issued a solemn warning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matthew 21:43<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cTherefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you<\/strong>, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
The issue again was unbelief<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The kingdom belongs to those who produce the fruit of faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nChrist Created One People of God<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The gospel does not establish two separate covenant peoples. Instead it unites believers from every background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ephesians 2:14\u201316<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cFor he is our peace, who hath made both one<\/strong>\u2026
For to make in himself of twain one new man<\/strong>, so making peace.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\nChrist removed the barrier between Jew and Gentile and formed one new people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nThe Olive Tree in Romans 11<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Romans 11 describes this unity using the image of an olive tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some branches were broken off because of unbelief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Romans 11:20<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cBecause of unbelief they were broken off<\/strong>, and thou standest by faith.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
But Jewish people can still be restored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\u201cAnd they also, if they abide not still in unbelief<\/strong>, shall be graffed in.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
This passage teaches two important truths:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Jewish people can absolutely be saved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- They are saved the same way as everyone else \u2014 through faith in Christ.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\nThe True People of God in Revelation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the Bible we again see the definition of God\u2019s people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Revelation 12:17<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cAnd the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed<\/strong>, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
The seed is clearly defined:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those who hold the testimony of Jesus Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nThe Final Vision of Redemption<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
In heaven the redeemed are described this way:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\nA Necessary Warning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Many modern teachings claim that a particular nation or bloodline still holds a special covenant status regardless of faith in Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But such teachings often rely on selective reading of Scripture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We must be careful not to build theology by emphasizing certain passages while ignoring the full biblical revelation. That approach leads to eisegesis<\/strong> \u2014 reading ideas into the text rather than allowing Scripture to speak for itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The consistent message of the Bible is clear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This truth should never lead us to pride or hostility toward any people group. The gospel calls us to humility and love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
